An Update I Didn't Want to Give

Hi, guys. I’m sure a lot of you saw the news about the short film in my newsletter, but just in case you didn’t, here’s the lowdown:
At this point, we can’t move forward with the project as a short film as the quality of the audio that was recorded isn’t high enough quality. What that means is that most of the footage has no usable sound. Not great for something that relies on words as much as pictures.

The good news is I’ll still be developing the project as a book trailer, but will have to rely on music and voice over to tell the story. I’ll be devoting more time to reworking the script when I’ve finished my next book, because insane writing deadlines are insane.

I’m so sorry for those of you who will be disappointed by this news. I’m disappointed as well.

Thank you for your wonderful support. Hopefully we’ll still see another version of Cassie and Ethan on the big screen one day, with full and glorious sound.

Leisa x
